Our corporate partnership with A Royal Flush has already paid huge dividends for American veterans.

In early October, HonorBound Foundation was the sole beneficiary of a charity golf tournament hosted by our corporate partner A Royal Flush and the law firm of Butler Tibbetts at Silvermine Golf Club in Norwalk, CT.

HonorBound Executive Director Pamela Harper Kushner said the event raised more than $10,000 for HonorBound’s mission of providing immediate assistance to veterans who are facing a crisis in all areas of the country.

Employees from A Royal Flush, Butler Tibbetts, and corporate guests from both companies managed to get in all 18 holes of a scramble golf tournament despite playing in chilly, windy, and rainy conditions.

The event featured lunch in the Silvermine clubhouse, the tournament on Silvermine’s immaculately groomed course, and hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and a raffle at the conclusion of the tournament.

“What a fantastic event and an amazing gesture by A Royal Flush and Butler Tibbetts to help so much with our mission,” Harper Kushner said.

Harper Kushner wanted to single out the contributions of Tim Butler, the managing partner at Butler Tibbetts and a co-owner at A Royal Flush, as the driving force behind the eventual partnership between A Royal Flush and HonorBound.

“Tim wanted (the partnership) to happen and this event shows that he is fully committed to helping veterans, not just in Connecticut, but in as many areas of the country as possible.” she said.

Harper Kushner also wanted to thank Katie Antonucci and Kate Fiore of A Royal Flush for their work in organizing the event (the original tournament date in September was rained out) and then making the secondary date work even though it rained off and on the entire day.
