We are delighted to be partnering with Army veteran and musician J.L. Ortiz! We’ve been working hard in the studio to create a song to be released this Veterans Day on November 11th.
The song tells the story of J.L.’s year of active duty and portrays the emotional experiences of soldiers. The song, “A Year’s Not Far Away,” explores the pain of missing loved ones at home, as well as the sacrifices made by service members to protect our country and our freedoms. It is important that we as a country step up for our veterans.
Too many heroes face crises after service — from emergency expenses, education and food to PTSD care and security deposits — we’re here for them all. We hope that this moving song will inspire people to get more involved in veterans’ issues, and to say “Thank You” to those who served.
