Are you interested in stepping up and doing more for veterans? Would you like a sneak peek of a 4-star movie before anyone else in the U.S.? We’ve got the perfect event for you!
HonorBound is delighted to be partnering with Saban Films, Saboteur Media, Greenwich International Film Festival and the Avon Theatre for a special charity screening of the new movie Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan. The Vietnam-era movie will be shown on October 26th at 10 AM at the historic Avon Theatre in Stamford, CT.
If you can’t make it to the special charity screening, Danger Close will be released in theaters on Nov. 8. It will be available on demand for streaming the same day.
It was late afternoon August 18, 1966 in South Vietnam. Major Harry Smith and his company of 108 young and inexperienced Australian and New Zealand soldiers are fighting for their lives, holding off 2,000 battle-hardened Viet Cong. With ammunition and time running out, each man begins to search for his own answer and the strength to triumph over an uncertain future with honor, dignity and respect.
HonorBound believes that the emotional depiction of teamwork and bravery in Danger Close will inspire people to get more involved in veterans’ issues. It’s a great way to say thank you to those who served. The truth is, we can ALL do more for veterans.
All proceeds from the event will support HonorBound’s mission to assist veterans in critical need. Such aid includes security deposits for homeless veterans, PTSD support, education, food, and more.
This is one event you absolutely can’t miss, so click here to purchase tickets for Danger Close today!
If you can’t attend in person, please consider our Supporting Patron Ticket option as a donation to HonorBound. Your generosity can be the difference between life and death for a veteran in crisis.
Now is the time to do more for those who have done the most for us. We don’t know them all, but we certainly owe them all. Join us today!
