It’s an unprecedented world out there right now with the health pandemic still ongoing. And many of us are lucky to have so much, which includes having a car. Why donate your car? Because many veterans are not as lucky and donating your car to HonorBound Foundation can be a huge help to veterans in need.

Nearly 5 million veterans in America have some sort of service-related disability. This is especially true of veterans in recent years. About 41% of vets who served after 9/11 have a disability ranking from the Department of Veteran Affairs, which is a dramatic increase from the 25% of veterans in pre-9/11 eras.

Now you may be thinking, “what can I do to help?” Why donate your car? Well, the vehicle donation program was created with a mission to help the everyday veteran. Those who returned from the service with injuries and disabilities that completely changed the way they go through life.

The donation process is also made as easy as possible for you. There is absolutely no paperwork that you have to fill out! Our DMV and IRS experts will handle all the paperwork so you don’t have to worry about filling out a thing!

Then, when the donated vehicle is accepted and the donation process is completed, we will mail you the tax receipt that you will need to file your taxes and get the tax benefit. And, since you are donating your car to charity, you qualify for a tax deduction!

These costs can include needing to pay for the vet’s vehicle repairs, paying for any late utilities bills they might have so they can have power or water restored, or even helping with tuition costs so the vet can further a career.
