Helen Seaman
Bio: Helen Seaman left a generous estate gift that will continue her legacy of supporting charitable causes. Ms. Seaman was born in 1915 and was a life-long resident of New York City, where she supported many local and national philanthropic organizations. We are forever grateful for her generosity and look forward to keeping her memory alive through our services.
George A. Swisshelm
Bio: George A. Swisshelm fought to liberate Europe from Nazi occupation as a member of the U.S Army and then helped combat the spread of communism during the Korean War. Mr. Swisshelm graduated from Columbia University and went to work as an associate editor at NBC. Following his service in Korea, Swisshelm moved to Darien, CT in 1958 and lived in the community until his death. He was a generous supporter of local charities and his gift to HonorBound will support veterans facing struggles after service.
Lois M. Heller
Bio: Lois M. Heller passed away on April 5, 2018 at the age of 92. She is survived by several children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue her legacy of charitable giving to righteous causes. She was a resident of Pennsylvania at the time of her passing, however her estate gift to HonorBound will assist veterans in crisis across the entire country.
Joseph M. Kleva
Bio: Joseph Mark Kleva was a decorated Air Force veteran. He was the recipient of the 2007 Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center Category III Civilian of the Year award. He was assigned to AFOTEC’s Detachment 4 at Peterson AFB in Colorado, where he lived until his death. He is survived by numerous friends and family in both the military and his personal life. Mr. Kleva’s estate gift to HonorBound will continue to honor and serve veterans across the United States.
